Have you bought a macbook replacement yet?

EDIT - My mid 2012 is suffering from a floppy hinge and a barely working trackpad. Tempted to pull it apart to try and fit a new trackpad but the floppy hinge? I mean no'one likes a floppy hinge

Nope. £650 mot bill the following week. Still on iPad and laptop.

Funny how it seems, like everything breaks at the same time. My laptop bricked doing a win10-11 upgrade, so I've now installed ubuntu on it to get it up and running again and the macbook won't last much longer without surgery.

What I'm missing with the laptop is that it now doesn't run zwift, the macbook can run it but blows hotter than me at a chilli festival. I might need to buy something new. I'll pour another beer and contemplate
