The Holdsworth

Posted same picture twice.
There's a lot of work to do on this bike yet - the crank isn't on properly yet because I don't know the correct size cottered axle - but working on it!

Yes - came back from argos a few days back. It was a rusty wreck with dents. It was expensive but had to be done - all in all the frame( prior to respraying!) and most of he components have cost me very little. It's not going to stay single speed - I'm just messing around with options at the moment. I've just added a GB brake set as well. Need better tyres on it.

Re:

Great work. That frame looks amazing, it's hard to beat red with shiny bits.
Have you got the rare plastic plug for that Milremo stem? In a moment of madness I foolishly sold one of those stems on ebay a couple of years ago, complete with it's plug, and regretted it almost immediately.
It is a great looking stem for a vintage bike.

"Rare plastic plug" - no not sure what it is? But it was a choice between a Milremo or a GB stem - I like the look of the Milremo but it is quite heavy. A bit of work to do on he bike yet - I'm pleased with it so far.

Re:

Mine had a moulded red plug in that hole in the back, which had 'Milremo' on. Can't find a picture of one now on google image search, so I feel like an idiot for mentioning it. Please excuse me...
