Im off to goodwood tomorow (friday) anyone else going if so please could you post some pictures of the day when your back. Also is any one taking a retro ride to get around on ?

My friend's going -- he's a member of the Goodwood Motorsport Lah-de-dah Club. I've been invited along, but I think that 40 or 50 quid to get in is taking the piss.

Don't really get on with the Goodwood thing. Its a little bit 'us and them' for my liking and a little up its own arse. Its not a patch on some of the continental events like Le Mans Classic, Pau or Circuit des Ramparts.

Always some nice cars and action but too much of the fun is behind closed doors unless one has the right passes. Still, its better than a wet weekend in Wetherby as my old man would say!

Might go down for the revival later in the year.

agree with you in many ways. Have quite a good relationship with goodwood and think the events are well organised and laid on etc, but my one gripe of the FOS is that the access is restricted. Paddocks are great for access, but the view of the action is hard. Not that good for photographers either unless you have a tabard, which invariably we always get up too late for. :-(

Revival is good too. Better actually IMO. Much closer to theaction and fun that everyone dresses up etc. Will be there too this year.

think you need to have a break though, they don't differ that much so every year would get a little samey.

never been but my impression of it is pretty much what si said . i was quite surprised they had dragsters one year
