Re:

Well done lads! Sadly missed it, valve split from tube last night, hence cry for help, then realised its a Saturday! :-D shops would have been open. I then have 5 year old throwing up in bed just past 3am! Wifey after lack of sleep from both of us looks at me and says "You dare leave me!" What with dad etc. Not been fun! Not going to promise anymore. Will keep an eye, if I turn up, bonus, if I don't, you wont know. Looking forward to 28th December though!

Re:

Thanks to everyone who turned up, it was a laugh from the begining, the first thing I noticed when approching the car park, was Ken half way up the road, with ladders on the roof of his van  he had almost ripped them off going into the car park, no one told him about the Barrier (4 years we have used this car park) Sorry Ken, it made us laugh. Harry Crumb was waiting for us (in the wrong car park) Thanks for the orange saddle Martin, it has come up a treat with some polish.

Considering the weather report, I think we got away lightly with the rain, yes it was very muddy, but great fun sliding around, the pace was a bit quicker, which caught up with Ken towards the end, but you did it mate, glad you did not give in :D It was great to see Ringo (2 stone lighter) looking like a racing snake, keep up the good work fella. What else? are yes the important bit, most of us were riding some good old retro bikes, using them as they were intended to be used. Other highlights of the ride were Ken's new selfie pose, and Ken again knocking the bikes over (twice)

Again thanks to everyone, for making it a great day out as you always do.

Stuart.

Yep, great ride and thanks to Stu & Matthew for organising...

The missing two stone meant I could actually keep up and get up the climbs! Still need to work on the technical stuff to cope better with the more challenging parts!

The other thing is that I now want a Westy.. which is Verns fault!

My pics are below -
