I've got one, had another which I intended to build but it was a shade too small,but it lives on in Italy now.
Lovely, lovely sandvik built frame, amazing welds, sandvik are/were (no idea if they are still going) reputedly one of, if not the best ti frame builders back then.
Mine has been through a few build variations, though I've never been one to stick to period parts, so have never used the rear canti mount.
I'm currently part way through modernising it (relatively speaking), migrating from m952 xtr to m970 xtr (I was fortunate enough to have a nos set from a garage queen sts I built but never used). Pace rc31 ti forks, spineegy cyclone rim brake wheels, thomson finishing kit, and some purple Paul's brakes (though may switch to m970, unsure yet).
In both guises it wears the non period parts really well. Rides perfectly and is so comfortable. I dont ride much, but I did complete an 85 mile off road event on it and both it and I survived to tell the tale.
My only gripe, is that the cable guides are positioned on the wrong side of the top tube for a good v brake cable run, the main reason I went for Paul's brakes as you can switch the cable mount on the v to the other side, problem solved, if a little expensively.
I have toyed with fitting a suspension fork, as I have a nos 32mm sid world cup with v lowers, but I like the look of the rear mounted brakes on the pace forks a lot. Time will tell...
Whst do you plan on doing with yours?
Does yours have the straight or snaked rear stays?
The one I sold had snaked stays (mine has straight), never quite figured the exact year of mine, 93 or 94 I think. I also finished the job a previous owner had done of removing the canti mount between the stays. Looked great, toyed with doing it on mine, but cant bring myself to do it.
