My latest project is a V8 Range Rover Classic auto. Certainly does the wafting thing well, and on a run I am getting over 22mpg on LPG. Not bad at all. It is not at all fast, but you just know it wants to get you home, at all costs.
Probably so it can drop its guts on the drive, but a lot of fun in the meantime.
I can't justify/afford a 'new' one, but anyway the only new ones I like are now the last but one generation. I love the Classic more than anything I have ever seen. Even beats the G Wagen I always loved, thanks to how expensive they have become, and thanks to how simple the Classic is.
