Hello,
My Boardman uses Tektro R315 calipers, which at the front are just a tad too short to comfortably reach the rim. The pads make contact at the very top of the rim, often spilling towards the tire as they wear out. 1-2mm longer reach would fix the problem.
I was thinking to replace them with better calipers, and I was eyeing the R359. I am not a fan of their quick release design, but they have a claimed 59mm reach. Except that anywhere other than on Tektro's own website, they are marketed as 57mm. Is this one of those cases where the 59mm reach is nominal but in fact, it's 57 like the R315?
Thank you!
