In all good theory 11/8", as this was publicised at the time as an advancement for that year...... both mine have been.
Its not much different from the 89, except the seat stays are welded on higher up under clamp and the headset size is bigger
91 was a bigger leap with afterburner os stays, cast dropouts and OS tubing....they were stiffer, especially in the bigger 19 and 21.5 sizes for sure.
