Team Clydesdale! (Self help group masqerades as race team)

I admit it I go faster downhill :D

more mass you see.

I lost mega weight in a week by not eating, however I would not recommend that method.

I definetly need more fresh air and interesting rides to beat the daily blues so count me in.

BTW Does the lost factor count. When ever I go offroad an hour usually ends up as 3, due to the fact I get lost.

Think I am past the racing stage though...will retire on my impressive second place I scored in 1990 and leave it at that....

I have also been thinking about cycling out to the workshop :) Its a major uphill sslog,in fact i think its mostly hill for the hour it takes to get there.

It's the only way really :?

Update, been out 3 times in the last 5 days, between 1 and 2 hours depending on weather.

Damn good fun, and do belive it gets easier every day!

a dry run on Wednesday with the new 'work' bike to see how it goes.

Hope you don't have too many hills, it looks heavy!

I've been riding at least once a week for the past month, plus running once or twice a week and playing football for an hour on a Tuesday night.
I'm going snowboarding for a week for the first time ever in 2 weeks time so needed to get fit for that.
Once thats out of the way then I'll be working on regular evening rides as training for Mayhem in June :D
The light evenings cant come soon enough for me!!

Shouldn't you go on a tried and tested bike on your first day. You don't want to turn up late with an excuse of 'me bike broke down'.

4 weeks ago i decided enough was enough .

got a wii fit , and have lost nearly stone . the difference on the bike is huge . I am still fat and slow , but gettign there .
