I picked up these really nice 177mm Syncros cranks off the bay the other day; it was a bit of an impulse buy as I wanted something a bit flash to go on my new Klein Attitude. Unfortunately after fitting I realised that the spindle on my ‘Tude was too long to give a decent chainline and gear-change so rather than mess around fitting a shorter one I thought I’d sell the cranks on (didn’t really have the fundage for them in the first place!).
Condition is good and usable. There is some scratching to the main arms especially at the ends where they have previously made contact with the trail. I took the cranks apart and cleaned when they arrived but they could still benefit from some elbow grease to really bling them up and if I was keeping I’d get some jazzy new chainring bolts. The tapers and threads are still in great shape as are the ‘Syncros’ logo castings. The chainrings are the original Syncros ones’ (24t, 34t, 46t) and they still have plenty of life left.
I reckon I may’ve overpaid a bit (£125 + £7 P&P); now on offer for a more realistic price of £115 (that includes recorded delivery to UK mainland), also happy to send anywhere overseas for £120.
