Anodising - Pace Crown ….

Anyone recommend a re-anodising company or had experience with someone who offers this service?
The original gold finish is worn and scratched and rather than just sanding down and polishing (which I’ve done in the past) is a long winded affair given the shapes, nooks and crannies…
Any suggestions?

There are 2 types of Anodizing. The common type is just a dye that penetrates the Oxide layer on the Aluminium.. The other is Hard Anodizing and is more like a powder coating or plating and increases the dimension of the part slightly. It's an extremely hard finish.

Is Steve still doing MTB parts? I sent him an email a month ago but had no response. He has done loads for me in the past all with great results.

I had mine done a few months back. I think it’s a “if work’s a bit slow at the moment, I’ll pop it in with another commercial batch” kinda deal. May be wrong, but may also be timing. The website mentions a minimum budget, but still took in my random job.

Maybe text him as emails these days seem a bit optional? I think I just rang him initially.
