Swap a Pug for a fixie

They are horizontalish!they have adjusment screws in them too so getting the chain tensioned should be fine....now to find my chain splitter and make up a shorter chain!Thanks for the advice!

No worries. Before you shorten that chain, just check that the track cog you got from the LBS is not for a 1/8 chain. If so you will need to replace that...

Regarding the chain if you need to replace it for 1/8.......don't be tempted to buy a halflink chain like all these hipster singlespeed off the shelf bikes have. They stretch badly and will wear your chainring and cog. Kmx BMX 1/8 chain is what I use on my single speed pug and on my Cinelli Gazzetta. Strong and they are cheap.
