Its unfortunate that you feel that way. I did ask for this thread to be killed off as its now just a showcase for those that like to argue.

Myself and Bushpig finished this off via PM sometime ago.

This thread started out so simply, it wasn't intended to show off or take a dig at another continent. It just inadvertently exposed an unhealthy seam between the haves and have nots and shows how easily a thread can be hijacked by others for their own means. I even apologised for the poor photography in advance.

I think its time to take a breather, I've made some good friends here but the constant bickering is now taking its toll.

I find myself wholly responsible or at least the catalyst for these arguments and thats not fair on other members or the mods. So thats pretty much it I think.

I've sadly not ridden every brand in the world so I can't make educated comments about whether a make of bike is rubbish or not. What people have are opinions (unless someone on here actually has ridden every bike make, then they can post facts). People get strange loyalties and irrational dislikes for no real reason.

I like American bikes, mainly due to the history, but you have to pay top dollar nowadays to get a bike which is actually built there. My personal snobbery would be liking American brands that are actually built in America.

I find it ironic that some find it necessary to defend the Faith/Realm (Marin/Marin) when you look at a member like Breezin's posts, which are some of the most matter of fact, non pretentious ones on the site.
