Are great!

A few of us went to Walton on the Naze following a few of them......Ive now got a free ap for the iphone that overlays them onto a real map so you can properly plan a route and then save it to your favourites......

Basically, they open up the whole of the UK to the cyclotourist without having to plan too much........personally, I am very spontaneous and prefer to make it up as I go along, more or less, and these routes are perfect for it.

Have a go on some.......they are a really good idea and they cover some great places, fully signposted (but you have to get your eyes tuned in for the signs.....a bit like looking for lost golfballs)

:D

What's the name of the app? Having trouble finding it. Just right for going with the wife and nipper. Used them but having all of them in one place would be great

It's called " bike hub"

Excellent little ap ..... I need to get a decent bike mount and some sorb of battery back up now tho!

Yates's does a nice bit of fish and chips..... The couple in there don't do smiles tho....:0)

I don't go there but it's just down the road (the locals call where I live West Clacton, but it's Jaywick  )

Going to check out whether there's a similar app for Android.. if sustrans routes are good for kids, should be ok for me too ;)

Honest, for a free ap, its perfect.............you can also download the sustrans routes and follow them via a print out...........really well thought out routes

Due for Android release very soon apparently. . . keeping my eyes open for it.
Thanks for the heads up and review 8)

Downloaded a couple (of others) and, so far, they're pretty poor....
