I need to start using my LBS more often as they're always spot on. Sometime's it's just easier to order parts from the web than take a trip out to my local bike shop. Really must make the effort!
To be fair, I worked part-time in the cycle department at Halfords for around six years whilst at sixth-form and uni. I'm more than competent with cycle maintenance and would like to think I looked after every customer who I dealt with. Everyone on the cycle department was a proper cycle nut. Some customers were a nightmare though!
