Superstar floating rotors

As a bit of an aside to all this compatibility stuff - sometimes we all run into issues like this. I've just this afternoon fitted a 180mm Hope floating rotor on a Maverick 24mm hub. I use Magura Marta SL brakes and the heads of the rivets (for want of a better word) just catch the caliper and so the caliper needed to have a little filed off to provide clearance.
If I was using a post mount caliper then maybe I could have just spaced it out 1mm, which would have solved the problem, but these are direct IS mount calipers.

But then the Marta calipers were never designed to be used with floating rotors and the modification needed took maybe 30 seconds .
