Suntour XC Pro 7 speed rear cassette alternative

Hi, does anyone know an alternative for a Suntour XC Pro APII MD 7 speed rear cassette. The one with the smallest two cogs that hold the cassette on.

Mine has got missing teeth to the second from smallest cog so either need to replace just that part or the whole cassette.

Plenty of md cassettes come up for sale, usually nos, so shouldnt be too hard to find one.. Maybe put a post up in the wanted section.

Thanks mate, I have found one now, but will look out for another so i have a spare just incase.

Buy an 8spd suntour cassette and remove 1 cog. Use the spacers from the 7spd cassette. That's what I did at least!

I basically went from a standard 11-24 and dropped the second to lowest gear to keep a 28 extra low range cog. Just pop the cassette pins out and you are away.

If you haven't removed the cassette yet I hope you have better luck than I did but with a blow torch and a lot of swearing the 2 screw on cogs eventually came off.

Unfortunately the guy on eBay has sold out now but it was only £20 NOS as well!
