After spending the morning getting the 'elite' together ( just need the graphics before show and tell )..... Jimzano's post for his newly acquired Aluminium "O" combined with fantastic weather was enough for me to get out on the trail and do a decent bit of riding...
Essex may be as flat as a "witches tit" but there was some great dusty single track to be had, not to mention some fantastic views.
27 miles later, the final climb up balkerne hill was hastened by the lure of a pint. A perfect homemade 'toad in the hole' rounded up a great day's riding.
Soundtrack - Mumford & sons 'little lion man' and the XX's 'crystalize'
..... superb. Haven't had a bike day like this for a long time!
