took my a few years, but now I have it :mrgreen: no flex, no disc mounts and right size.. mmm

quite light for a steel frame in size large feeling the urge to build something light again, or at least under 8 kg fully geared.. need that Ritchey logic comp fork.. will you be my santa?? :xmas-wink:

Go for a Sram 9.0 front mech and no need to have any Shi*mano at all.

I ran Sram front and rear mechs on my '99 Exact.

Thanks I have been thinking about that front mech.. is it quiet? The top swing xtrs that I've used have been far from solid with loads of play in the links, making them noicy

Nothing I have is either clean or Immaculate!

Well I liked it and never felt any play, although never used an XTR one.

You have to remember I'm a very talented rider with skills most people can only dream of, so my shifting is smooth under any conditions and rattles and bangs are left for mere mortals some way back.
