suggestions please - what skewers?

I will need some skewers for the latest project soon, and have no idea what to look for.

The bike is an S-Works FSR (95), and the wheels are (will be) White Industries based.

Pic's as well as names would help as my knowledge of skewers is limited.

Oh, and would prefer not coloured, but may consider Black, silver, red

I'm no expert, but didn' Spec'. do their own skewers?

paul's. salsa. cook...though the best skewers are shimano.

If your bike is M900 XTR....Shimano M900 XTR qr's would be good.

Silver or black Ringle's shouldn't be too hard to get.


Specialized did indeed make their own qr's. Fitting for the bike.

Yes they did, with the S etched onto the lever.

Quite nice actually, and they do a range of colours.
