I cant check at the moment as the wheels are at home so any input appreciated but if it helps the hub code looks the be M ? 32 – it’s the best I can make out from the picture.

Cheers,

WD :-)

I would have thought 7 speed by default, although it should be possible to fit a wider freehub body on, with a bit of fettling.

Isn't it just like the other hubs - the freehub can be removed using a big allen key (10mm?).

yup , oh well it'll save me re hubbing/spoking the wheel

cheers fella :D :D :D :D :D :D

for some reason i thought the stx did'nt unbolt ????

I think STX hubs will take 7 speed and may take 8 speed cassettes without any problems.
The freehub body can be removed by taking off the locknut and cones fom one side, sliding out the axle and then undoing the large hollow bolt within the freehub with a 10mm allen key.
