STX-RC (FC MC33) crank question...

Hi,

Bit of advice if possible?

I have some of the above 5 bolt cranks. Does anyone know what kind of spider I need to ask for in the Wanted forums

If that's the one I think it is it was a unique spider - completely non standard. Pace made an adapter bitd that allowed you to fit standard chain rings - one showed up on eBay a couple of weeks back. Let me check my old posts and I'll get the RCxx number for you although afaik they are quite rare.

all may not be lost, rings from them there nasty acera cranks may also fit, people give em away and the rings are steel so good chance they will have survived the decades relatively intact.

i would get a better crankset though if i was you, unless youre going for mad anal factory spec on something
