STX RC brake arms BR-MC40

Hi,

I'm building a MBK bike with STX parts. I have an issue with the BR-MC40 brake arms. The spring seems to do not work fluently. Is it possible to disassemble the spring on this model ? (sorry for the bad picture)

Hi,

I’ve used the BR-MC40s before — the spring can be serviced, but it’s fiddly. Remove the main pivot bolt carefully, watch the tension, and make sure it’s seated correctly on reassembly. A drop of light lube on the pivot helps smooth operation.
