Sorry, I'm sure there's threads about this but can't find them for looking!
My KS close ratio hub isn't quite spot on and although I can find plenty of info on optimum adjustment of other 3 speed hubs, these all have the benefit of a little window in the nut where you can see what's happening - mine has the wing nut, and another solid nut so this method is void.
I have a feeling I've seen something about using what can be seen of the shaft on the other side (i.e. sticks out more or disappears depending on which of the three gears you're in.
I also wondered if the closer ratio of mine may mean the optimum setting for mine might differ compared to a standard KS hub?
Finally, any ideas what to use to get oil from a large container into the hub through the oiler hole!? need a flexible tube ideally small enough to go in and something wide enough at the top to take a table spoon or so of oil.
