Stumpjumper respray

Thanks for your comments folks. I'll try and answer some questions:

The frame is a Stumpjumper Comp which I bought in early 92 from that years model range. Argos's pricing is all on their website but this is what I had done:

Blast & single metallic stove enamel colour £110
Fill chainsuck marks £8
All new decals £45
remove & refit headset cups £8
Total £171 - thanks to all those of you who bought parts from me to help finance the job!

Turnaround time was 4 weeks. Happy Days! I'll do a bit more building tomorrow Mikee, but don't hold your breath waiting!
 
in some ways that's a lot of money
but if it gives another 20 years to it i'd say its worth it
lets face it a bad job would cost £100
 
...I'm obviously not the quickest builder on retrobike :oops:

that's a very nice build! the front foto is very nice, I like the stem/handlebar combo, and the odi grips work very well with grip shift too.
