Storing Wheels? How do you do this?

I have several pairs of road wheels in the loft and storing them tidily is driving me to distraction! They are balanced on the floor in a line at the moment, resting against a wall with hubs offset, but it's a very delicate arrangement and the slightest movement means they all fall into a heap.

Any ideas for tidy, efficient storage of pairs of wheels please?

Buy wheel bags with attractive logos, hang them on the walls around the house, here's two in the bedroom, it's art dontcha know

I've got an old curtain pole up in the loft and I made some hanging hooks out of old spokes.

If you don't need them regularly, just run a broom handle through them. Can get 8 or 9 pairs on one handle.
Then just hang it from the rafters

Usually, one always has room up high to store wheels.

I once saw an image of someone who had one wheel hanging flat and then, then, put hooks on the wheel in a manner similar to a chandelier and hung the wheels on the hooks. They must have gotten 4 and maybe 5 wheels to hang up that way.

I've got a piece of dexion type angle iron screwed to my garage ceiling, from which I hang wheels and rims on hooks made from old spokes. The hooks are sleeved with electrical cable sleeving so they don't scratch alloy rims.

I fall over some of them on a regular basis :facepalm: . Building another shed at the moment to avoid this . ....I need less stuff.......

Remember, the number of sheds you need is also measured as n+1....

Thanks to all for the suggestions. Hanging wheels from the bedroom wall I feel is only for the brave, foolish or single :shock: but best of luck to you if you've got away with it! Hanging them from a beam or pole seems the way to go and a new workshop is being built as we speak (so with Bagpuss on this one!). Gets rims stored as well! I commend the suggestion of attaching them all to bikes, but this would seriously increase my storage problem :facepalm: Some great suggestions; thanks to all.
