Stolen

A friend of a friend has had two bikes stolen this afternoon (from the Oxford area)...build details are scant but these are his words...

Could you please keep an look out for my Litespeed Occee and a Kona Kula 24. The house was broken into this afternoon and the 2 bikes were stolen.

These bikes are very distinctive.

Kona Kula 24 spec
Blue
Fox forks
Shimano finishing kit

Litespeed Occee
Magura forks
DT Swiss wheels
XTR finishing kit
Magura brakes

Is there a sticky thread on here for stolen bikes?

I would think that a dedicated section would be in order, with a link in each for sale/ebay watch etc. section, no?

It is difficult when it comes to parts, but frames are a different matter.

I don't think we need a "Stolen" classification.
Thankfully, posting of stolen bikes seem to be rare, and a seperate section might end up being one that no-one ever visits.
This has more impact.

A stolen section would help. Instead of searching the whole site if they were in one place RB members could check up to see if the lastest Ebay bargain is too good to be true.

I'm not sure that a dedicated 'stolen' section would be such a good idea. It's too easy to gloss over that type of thing wheras a new topic on the forum does stand out.
