I"m not sure if this was already posted but I got a kick out of seeing Retro goodies in Dirt of all places.

On a seperate not i find British mtb mags to be way better for us New Englanders than the US mags. Everything is so left coast non tech, that the reviews are almost useless. The conditions around here almost mimic that of England.

I've always fancied East Coast riding as it looks like you have loads of woods and trails to explore! Like the UK but without the access restrictions.
