Spidel Rear Mech and French 700 bare rims

Hello all

I'm looking for some French parts to complete an all French project.

Currently I need a Spidel rear mech and some French 700c (622x13) (Rigida, Champion, etc etc) bare clincher rims from the 70's upto the 90's that I can then lace onto some Spidel hubs I already have

I would prefer nice condition but at this stage will consider anything e.g. Even a Simplex that could be badged as a Spidel rear mech

I'm happy to pay if we can agree on price or If you have needs in the opposite direction swap for other parts as I have a few Campag and Shimano rear mechs from differing era's and have at least 3 sets of sprint/sew up rims that I no longer need which are 1 pair of Campag and at least 2 if not 3 pairs of Mavic's.

I may also need some French made drop handlebars and a French made seatpin if the parts I currently intend to use don't pan out when I get a bit farther down the road with this one.

I have a Huret titanium rear mech that was badged as Spidel but the label has fallen off. It comes from a French Daniel Salmon bike that had the Spidel front mech, shifters and Professional hubs

I may well take you up on that for another project but for this one ideally it needs to be Simplex Spidel as I've already got the front mech and shifters to go with it.

Yes info like that would help wouldn't it.

The hubs I'm using are 36 hole and the seatpost I need to measure so will do that at the weekend if I can't get in there before

Oooh now that is just the job, what do you want for it and the Huret mech?

Seat post sorted thanks to legrangdefromage and a rear mech that is primarily for another French project but that will probably get used on this one until I locate a Simplex Spidel.

And rims possibly sorted as I have some Rigida's arriving next week but they may be too scruffy.

So I'm still looking for a Spidel badged Simplex rear mech if someone can help and possibly some French 700c (622x13) bare rims.
