Sold French wheels - Maillard Normandy LF / MA2 36h

I think the hubs on these wheels must be to French standards as the front hub is 96mm OLN and the rear is 122mm. I have no way to verify if the freewheel thread is French but I guess it's a fair assumption. The date codes show they were made in 1980 (rear) and 1981 (front).

Both rims have very little wear and although a bit mucky from storage they will clean up well - the same goes for the hubs. Bearings run okay but these hubs aren't top end so will never be buttery smooth like Campag Record or Shimano Dura Ace. Spokes are plain old rustless so not super shiny.

£30 collected from near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire but if I'm reading the Parcelforce prices right I could arrange delivery to the UK mainland for an extra £10.

That's a great price for rims alone, nothing wrong with Maillard hubs either
