I'm a computer idiot. My laptop is a cheapy and was struggling with xp. My mate installed ubuntu and it's totally transformed it' it's a joy to use.
Our previous pc was rescued from a skip and had puppy linux installed. I found that a bit harder to use but still amazing that a dodgy old computer could whiz all over the internet just by installing some free software.
