Hi people,

I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this old s'posedly 1993
SpeedMetal Ti Frame. Just want to know some history about the maker and the authenticity of it's Decals.

I would really appreciate if some kind soul can help me out.
Cheers! = )

I really appreciate your help = )

The only thing I've heard of from the brand is that they used to make Ti frames and bolts back in the early 90s, they stopped in 1993 and took on other engineering projects, somewhat like AMP Research. I also heard from someone online that these frames were made by the guys from litespeed..but not much info other than this. :?

I do recall hearing about them during that era from one of the MTB Annual Buyer's Guide.

There is also a listing for bolt-on skewers from SpeedMetal in WeightWeenies.com

I apologise for being so long winded, guess I'm just very curious about it.

Does the serial number provide any clues?

Heres a picture of the bottom bracket and Serial number. = )

Hope this would reveal more,
Thanks for all your help!

Standard Sadvik frame...now TST Inc.

They produced for 43 companies at one time, accounting for the majority of the TI frames present in the mid 90's

Nice frame regardless of "whose" label is on it.

Build it, ride it, enjoy it!

cheers,

rody
