This metal matrix M2 Stumpjumper Comp frame is in very good condition, no dents, dings or damage. Decals could do with a refresh (but even they are not bad!). I would give it 8.5 out of 10!

size is, seat tube 18 inches (C-T) and toptube 22 (C_C)

There are a couple of scratches and a little chain rash but that's about it. I know it's a 98 but it is more suited to advertising here..

Weighs an impressive sub 2 kilo number as well! Worth it alone for it's impressive gusset!!

Looking for £65 posted.

I'm a sucker for an impressive gusset any day of the week, but 'metal matrix'? I've seen this marketing-speak a few times from various manufacturers, but is that Specialized words for 'aluminium' or is it some sort of other alloy?

Don't quote me, but I thought they introduced some ceramic particles to the mix...

But your right, probably more marketing speak than anything... Boralyn Univega's anyone?

MMC is made through powder metallurgy and is essentially a high strength/weight ratio aluminium alloy, with unusually high silicon content nominally around 25%

The tubes are drawn thinner and yields good strength at low weight. Not cheap to produce raw material or work with, and can only be machined with diamond tipped cutters!
