These any good, I have just got a NOS front one for the cost of postage..almost off of 'The Bay' but I have never seen one...

Toatl Ebay Magpie syndrome...ooo look, bid, wont use it, going cheap, its a great idea, recieved, nice box, waste of not a lot of money!

I forgot about that , couldn't be arsed to increase my bid

At the end of the day it's a nice looking box

depends what type it is
the cartridge bearing ones had really crap bearings in them
lasted about 3 months tops
the cup and cone ones seem okay tho

I still got one sitting in it's wooden box but have a couple of the 9mm qr ones on my Specializeds, they do tighten up the front end especially on my SID's as I'm about 100kg and like to get over the front end and work the suspension. Never had any problems with the cartridge bearings so far just got problems trying to get the freehub off the rear one I have, maybe time to get some Plusgas on the job.

I've got a black NOS one I got off ebay for next to nowt a few weeks ago.
Haven't really decided what to do with it yet - it isn't the lightest of hubs, but the matt black finish would look good when built up.

The stiffness is well worth the weight. My front hub of choice. There is even a Hugi version found on some of the s-works wheel sets.
