Specialized S-Works Epic (2004) kids build

Re:

Doing it himself - as he should! He did some of the crown race too, after I'd got it halfway on and square - which was tricky

and we have a rolling chassis...

24" wheel Hotrock FSR vs 26" S-Works Epic. The little 'un is a 12" seat tube, the big 'un is 15".

Wheels are XT M765 series tubless 8)

Sorry, only just found this....great stuff :D

Whow - I too missed this

and just been having a good read - impressive stuff on the forks, be interested to see what weight you can shave off this one

I have a Teeny Marin Rift Zone coming but its stuck at Muzzy's at the moment

Re:

Riding on the Hotrock FSR.

At speed, on tarmac.

Pothole.

Weight transfers to the front.

Superman over the bars.

Hand outstretched.

Contact.

Tumbles.

Pain, some blood (and he scuffed up the bike  ).

A&E.

X-ray.

No breaks but sore.

Enforced rest, no more bike building for the young 'un.

No time off school - he's IS off school!
