On paper (we've been weighing each part as it arrives in the post) it comes in at 11.50 kg which is 25lbs 6oz

Whow - I too missed this :shock:
and just been having a good read - impressive stuff on the forks, be interested to see what weight you can shave off this one
I have a Teeny Marin Rift Zone coming but its stuck at Muzzy's at the moment

Pothole.
Weight transfers to the front.

Hand outstretched.
Contact.
Tumbles.
Pain, some blood (and he scuffed up the bike
).
A&E.
X-ray.
No breaks but sore.
Enforced rest, no more bike building for the young 'un. :facepalm:
No time off school - he's IS off school!
