I have a 1991 Specialized M2 S works serial number 91 T 01043, platinum colour with yellow stickers and was wondering how many were made in this colour scheme? I`m going to restore it but i want to ride it and wonder if i should go for the Suntour XC pro or just good useable parts. thanks.

Those 1991 models are pretty rare, at least I haven't seen but one in the bike forums. If you're going to really ride it, using Shimano compatible rear hub & cassette might be clever. If you're going to restore it, then Suntour is the way to go.
