Hello gents, long time no see. Having a clearout and these two are on the chopping block, thought I would offer them up here before anywhere else. Neither bike has been used in years. I'd prefer collection on these but will post at what it costs me.
First, this lovely 93 Rockhopper Expert. Very original (only saddle, grips and tyres aren't) and very, very clean - just the odd little scratch brings it down from mint. Full Suntour XC Expert group and one of the best paint jobs I've ever seen on a mass produced bike. Size 18" C-T. £130.
Next is this slightly less lovely 94(?) Alpinestars CR300. I've had this bike since I was about 14. It hasn't been looked after like the Rockhopper and shows a fair number of battle scars. Lots of scratches and patina but not rusty. Pics make it look better than it is. I have the missing front canti and the missing chainset and will include them. However, the chainset (STX) has got a pedal axle broken in it, which will have to be removed. Whether or not this is worth doing probably depends on the mentality of the buyer. Size 18" C-T. £80.
