last autumn I lightly crashed my treasured Spesh and inexplicably picked up a dint in the top tube. The bike shop guys said it looks OK, but you know.. Spesh will do me a deal on a new Allez frame, but they are now a range below Tarmac.. and the 2005 is a fantastic smooth riding frame and was in its day the top bike.
So, I will continue to ride it with confidence I think - I'm neither heavy not strong. However, I wonder, has anyone out there a frame of same vinatage that is now surplus to requirements? I am after the 58cm, but could do a 60cm at a push.
Or any advice on anything with similar ride qualities. I have a Synapse flat bar and might switch the kit over.. but even that does not feel smoother.
