Hi guys,
Reached a bit of a problem on my restoration 1998 Specialized rockhopper. Upon putting the bike back together after painting the frame I have noticed that the front wheel is slightly bent and that there is some play in the rear wheel. I wonder if anyone has some advice of what to do? Would it be best to try fix these or just buy new wheels. In which case, does anyone have wheels with hubs for sale that will fit. I'm unsure as to what hub sizing they are so would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction of what to look for.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi there

The front buckle a bike shop may be able to straiten out. play it the rear hub with be some adjusting to the hub cone/nut to take the play out. best to strip the hubs clean and regrease on these old bikes anyway all part of the resto.
