Have you written to SRAM? Avid ? I remember I was after a part for a Mavic headset and mavic sent me a brand new complete headset for free!
Might be worth contacting them

Yes, I thought so, too. I recall having an avid sd ti-version. Unfortunately sold long ago. And the price seems to have increased a lot in the past years... I am not sure, whether they are press-fitted as well, just like other Avid SD models are, I guess.. Perhaps I will sell my black ops and install some XTR.. might be the most sufficient option.

Problem solved!
An old avid sd-5 was used as spare part. I pressed out the bushings and cut the wanted part of to eventually use it. That's it.

Damn, I was going to offer a cracked arm I have if it was the right side. At least we know it fits, I have swapped bits around on avids before and not had to resort to cutting though.
