Hi, I'm building up a 1993 Wheeler 9900 with a 1.1-4 inch threadless steerer.
Mike Kluge took the mtb worldcup on these bikes in the early nineties.
It's a very nice Easton Program Varilite Extra frame that deserves a second life.
The original Dia Compe headset is worn and the original stem has no rise. That makes it a bit too racy for me.
So, I'm looking for the following:
- 1.1-4 inch threadless headset, good quality, color is not important.
- 1.1-4 inch stem, 120 - 130mm, 15 - 25 degrees rise, a light one please, preferrably Control Tech but any stem and color considered.
Cash or swaps, both ok with me.

The bike as I picked it up. I took it apart. It's waiting for the right parts now. Idea is to build it up as light as possible. The frameset provides a good basis for that.
