Something special Pt2 PACE RC300 F1

Creaking is best solved using liquid gasket instead of grease for seatpost and make sure there's a layer under the clamp aswell.

My Pace is totally silent, even running Royce BB and older type Middleburns.

No amount of normal grease will stop the seatpost clamp from creaking.

I'm off out today to get me some liquid gasket. A run out yesterday was accompanied by the dreaded, creak! Other than the unplanned percussion i'm super pleased!

You would say that! I'm looking at a Scott scale!!! Frame could be for sale at the right price. Most prob bubble wrap it and save her. It took a good while to find one in this size. Loving the Dale. Still really fancy one!!!

very harsh ride, not much feeling there. bike was too light too........though my dale is 18'' rides way better yet is the same weight, 21lbs area.

strange really.
