Some phpBB3 forum settings questions (auto rank)

Need some help with phpBB3 forum guys.

1:- How do I set an auto rank change to that after x number of posts someone's rank status will automatically change to the next level up. I've set up all the ranks with minimum posts and a little graphic, but they aren't applying to the users.

2:- Need to change the top links, at the moment there is just a "Board Index" but i want to add some more, can't seem to find the right section to modify this in the theme templates.

long long time and don't remember php that well, but set 'special rank' to 'no' if it's there ?

Hey Fluffy, I thought i might get a reply off you
Yes, I put special rank as "no" and then it asks for minium post count, so i've st up 5 or so of these with different minimum post counts, but they aren't applying to the users. Under the group settings for ranks there is only "user defined" and then the list of special ranks that i've set, e.g. mod, admin etc. So i've left it as user defined. Doesn't work though :?

I'm trying to transfer what I know from VBB, phpBB is different of course and really is quite some time since I've had a play with it.

User Defined I think means the user can create his.her own title and it uses that.
Can you not tick for 'members' just the set of post activated ranks ?

No such option for post activated ranks

EDIT: Working now! Somehting really silly, but i hadn't put a group description in, even though it's not displayed in the forum.

Anyway, happy now, just need to fettle the code to get some links up
