SOLD: USE SUB Fork 100mm black U.S.E. S.U.B w/ hub 26er

I still don't understand the thinking towards using slotted IS fixings in the first place, as opposed to holes.
Like Coyote said, it's so that the brake calliper can be swung out of the way when the wheel needs to be removed, same as a Lefty. :D
That way you don't have to take the bolts fully out, and drop all the washers/shims etc. in the grass...

Cannondale did the same on the Lefty. It's so you can remove the caliper easily to take front wheel off. It would be a right pisser having to take out the bolts and washers to remove wheel. With the disc in caliper it would be impossible to remove wheel as it pulls off axle unlike a conventional fork/hub.

Thank you - you learn something new every day. Never having used these or similar forks, the wheel removal issue didn't occur to me.
It's obvious now that you point it out .

Things like that aren't always obvious till you see the wheel/hub whatever in the metal instead of photos.
There are Lefty hubs, not made by Cannondale, that have an inner hub with bearings which the disc mounts to and then the wheel has a hub shell that fits over this inner hub. No need to remove caliper as disc stays with inner hub and I think they even have a quick release too instead of the bolt that is on Cannondale Lefty hubs.

if you're into weird forks

All the best,

can you use this on any lefty wheel / hub or does it only work on with the use hub? Are there any adapter or something... (sorry if stupid question)
