Its too small... :cry: one size larger and it would have been perfect.

The history of these frames seems to be a small batch produced somewhere back in the dim & distant which disappeared and hence reappeared here & there.

Similar specs to a Kili Flyer of 1997 with hooded Ritchey drop-outs

Frame is of top quality Tange, dont know exactly what version. Frame builds into a very light bike.

Measures approx 16.5" BB to TT, 18" if measured to the seat clamp, 22" top tube.

I was looking for around £70 for the frame -****SOLD****.

Hello there Mr Cheese, yes very interested in this for Mrs E_R. I would be interested in the frame option, what goodies if anything will it come with.. e.g. BB, headset, seatcollar, seatpost?
Would you say these were around the 1997 vintage, suitable for suspension.

Titanium seat bolt inc.

What sort of headset? Theres no forks inc so you could have the Ritchey Logic threaded or an Aheadset of some sort.

XC/ short travel suspension forks should screw with the handling too much.

No BB inc but you would need to find a 73mm shell.

Lovely frames! Here's mine, which I have had longer than any of the other c.50 bikes that have passed through in last c. 8 years!

I also have one that is plain white.

PS Rides/sits best with a SHORT fork - mine's with an early <400 a 2 c Project 2.

SOLD to the man in the stetson.

If was one size larger, it would have stayed - one of the best steel frames I owned for a while.

Thanks cheeseman, yes its for Mrs E_R and yes it will have suspension, but i'll wean her off that eventually and change it to rigid as her skill levels increase. And happily enough it's just about the right size for me too so I could steal a ride of it now and then
