18” GT RTS bull burnished main frame, this was found in the cellar of an independent bike shop I frequent along with some NOS STS parts. The guy who owns it stated he bought the job lot from Caratti Sport in 1997 and it’s been in the cellar since.
In good order, polished up a section to show how a bit of effort could have her gleaming. No cracks, threads are good.
Decals state RTS-1 but it has a curved top tube end cap, odd that it would have been re decaled back then, it looks like an original one. Frame number is H5J03958.
£45 plus postage.
(Comes with a free chainstay section, slight split of material at rear dropout pivot on on side, could be welded if you are going to use it).
