Hello all,

I have decided to sell my Fatchance Buckshaver Frame, it is a medium 1997 model, in good condition, I will include the purple seat bolt and it's original Fat Chance seat collar, the little pulley wheel which allows the choice of top or bottom cable routing has been misplaced. It has it's original chainsuck plates.

It is sitting unused, I don't have the time to use it, nor the funds to kit it out as I would like, seems a waste to strip it down and put it into storage.

If required I will also include the Zoom seat post and FSA 1" headset, both of these are new, and only seen a few rides (headset was £40 retail). Other components may be up for sale later.
The frame was £680 retail if I remember correct, bought new by me from Bromley Bikes many years ago, it has been ridden and as such has the usual scuffs and scrapes and cable rub.

Although cheaper than the Yo Eddy, this is still a superb Fat Chance frame and offers a superb ride, I believe it is also lighter than the Yo, and less harsh on the buttocks :)

As stated size Medium.

Top tube 22.5" Centre to centre along the top tube, 23" from the centre of the stem cap bolt to the centre of the seat post.

Seat tube is 17" Centre to centre, 18.5" from Centre of Bottom Bracket to top of seat clamp.

1" headset.

29.4 seatpost size.

31.8 top pull front mech.

1997 model and suited well to 60mm travel and 80mm travel Rockshox Judy's and Sids. The pictures shoe Judy SL with 60mm travel, and Judy XC with 80mm travel, for comparisons.

Sold for £230.

The price includes it getting well packaged and delivered within the UK.

I will accept Paypal but only if the buyer pays the fee's, maybe split 50/50?

Cheers,
Steve

The seat tube is 18.5" from centre of BB to top of seat clamp, IF I remember correctly! A rough guestimate is a 22.5 top tube, maybe 23 from seat post to top cap centre in a horizontal line?

I was sue there used to be some link somewhere, maybe a review? which states the sizes, this being a medium, as confirmed on the BB shell.
The top tube looks almost level with 60mm forks due to the short headtube. I am sure Fat Chance did their measurements C-C when stating sizes, small/medium being my preferred size. (I am 5'8. This frame is more suited to 5'9 and above I guess)

I will measure this up tomorrow.

These do ride REALLY nicely.

One of my best riding bikes is a 97 Buck.
I riding a M, but have LOADS of post and massive saddle to bar drop
22.5" TT horizontal IIRC

Very quick, rides light, and looks great in a M.

:)
