Selling my Argos racing frame to free up some space in the house.

Built by argos racing cycles in Bristol in 1986 with Reynolds 531 competition tubing with a 531st downtube for stiffness (confirmed by Argos by email).

Frame measures 58cm (top of seat tube to centre of bottom bracket) and top tube is 56 cm long.

Front dropout is 100mm and rear is 130mm. Bottom bracket is threaded, most recently had a 68mm wide shimano bb un55 bottom bracket installed.

Frame is in good condition with chips to paintwork as pictured.Includes seatpost and stronglight headset. Further pictures and frame number available on request.

Is the top tube 56 cc?

Hi,

Head tube length is 18cm, yes top tube is 56 cc. I previously had 700x25c tyres fitted, I think anything more than that would be pushing it at the rear but I haven't tried.
