sniping over

well i think by saving these parts from the tips and selling/passing them on is great ! in a few years these parts your saving will become rare . but thanks to you theres going to be a few more around :D

and for those people building bikes to exact spec that'll need those parts they'll know who to thank

keep up the good work............

I was thinking about this last night - I see something down the tip that I think I can fix (sometimes just pumping the tires up is enough) and I also think 'blimey, not seen one of those for years' and just post it up.

Just got a bit miffed thats all.

i think LGF has some cracking finds and wish i had the time to check out my local dump but work, wife and four kids dont allow for it

on the contrary, send them out and you adopt a fagin role, turning it all into cash.

but the whole tip find attitude is the future. Come the revolution ... er sorry ... recession, those five-grand pinarellos will be obsolete and everyone will ride mended clunkers.

I like this one - not sure why

Hmmm - the Trek ended up with me as the 'yellow peril'

I thought that bike had 'IKEA' written on it at first glance - it's the right colours   Now that would have been cheap.

I reckon we should have a cheap bikes meet someday, bikes from near the bottom of manufacturers lines need only apply

Yes, that could be fun......I could dig out my Townsend, a bike so bad even LGF had a gentle snipe at it
