Smashing Pumpkins

i have disscussed that very idea with friends on many occassions, but when you sit down to listen to it in order it does work. each song sort of increases your appreciation of the next.

when we got down to it we couldn't work out which ones to cut..

its not an album to have on in the back ground, [grumpy old fecker]like most music is nowadays[/grumpy old fecker] but to just sit and listen to it all gels together.

Some absolutely amazing songs in an ocean of so-so noise IMHO.

Mellon Collie should have been a single album for it to be a classic. Way too much filler.

No no no no

Its the best original double album ever released. Nobody has done a decent one, but still its awesome. Not many fillers I dont think.

One of my fave bands of all time :D

I seriously think Siamese Dream is one of the best albums ever made...it's just amazing from start to finish and IMO was their high point. MC was a good album as well with some beautiful tracks on, after that I think they really went off the boil, especially with the departure of Jimmy Chamberlin who IMO was a BIG part of their sound.

Seen some footage of them playing recently and it's a tad rubbish..Corgan looks bloated and the rest of the band just seem bored!
